How do I calculate a 30% discount?

Multiply the price by 0.70 (100% βˆ’ 30%). Example: $50 Γ— 0.70 = $35. Or use the 4th calculator with βˆ’30.

How do I find the pre-tax price from a total?

Divide by 1 + the tax rate. Example with 20% tax: $120 Γ· 1.20 = $100.
